Product Information
Sir Jacobs makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions are accurate, prices are correct, and images reflect the product as accurately as possible.
Handcrafted products: Sir Jacobs products are handcrafted ceramic objects. Variations in colour, texture, glazing, and finish may occur and form part of the character of the product. Such variations do not constitute defects. Colours may also vary depending on screen displays.
Pricing
All prices displayed on the Website include VAT where applicable and are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Sir Jacobs reserves the right to correct pricing errors before accepting an Order. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order.
Order Process
An Order is only accepted once payment has been successfully received and the Order has been confirmed by Sir Jacobs. Sir Jacobs reserves the right to decline an Order where stock is unavailable, pricing errors occur, or fraudulent activity is suspected.
Payment Methods
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers including PayFast, Yoco, and Payflex. Sir Jacobs does not store your card details. All transactions are encrypted using secure payment gateways.
Your use of the payment gateways on our website is at your own risk and Sir Jacobs is not liable for any direct or indirect damages emanating from your use of the payment functionality on our website.
Delivery
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 Business Days.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays.
Fragrance Sample Policy
Certain perfume purchases include a complimentary fragrance sample provided to allow Customers to experience the fragrance before opening the full-size bottle.
Important: Customers must test the sample first and should not open the full-size bottle if they do not intend on keeping it. Once the full bottle has been opened, the product is considered used and cannot be returned. This clause does not apply to home fragrance, lotion or wash products. These cannot be returned once opened, unless defective.
To qualify for a return, the full-size bottle must remain unopened, sealed, unused, and in its original packaging. This policy does not affect your rights under relevant consumer protection laws.
Returns and Refunds
You may return a product within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused, sealed, and the original packaging is intact. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. Once the returned product is received and inspected, Sir Jacobs may offer a refund, store credit, or an exchange. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Defective Products
If a product is defective, damaged, or faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. You may be required to provide photographs of the defect. Sir Jacobs will arrange collection and replacement where appropriate. Your statutory rights under relevant consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sir Jacobs shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from the use of the Website or Products.
