Every Sir Jacobs porcelain vessel is made by hand in our Johannesburg studio. Slip cast, fettled, fired to 1220°C. No two pieces are identical; subtle variation in surface and tone is the evidence of genuine craft, not a flaw to be corrected. What you receive has been made, not manufactured.

The wash

Made for hands washed often.

Smell

A lightly scented wash of light floral and woody notes. Amber Glow suits those who prefer a powdery, warm and floral aroma.

Feel

A clear gel that lathers readily with water and rinses clean, leaving skin invigorated rather than tight.

Formulated with

Glycerin, a humectant that draws water to the skin, and coconut-derived cleansers. Balanced to a pH of 5 to 7, close to skin's own. Paraben free.

How to use

Two to three pumps onto damp hands. Lather with water and rinse thoroughly. Suitable for hands and body.

Closing the loop

A pouch instead of a bottle.

Spout pouches use on average 65% less plastic than a rigid bottle of the same size. The porcelain, fired once to 1220 °C, does not need replacing at all.

Unscrew the pouch cap and lift the pump from your dispenser.

Squeeze the contents in, then close the dispenser with the pump provided.

Screw the cap back on the pouch. It reseals, so a part-used refill keeps until next time.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coconut Diethanolamide, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid, Parfum (Fragrance) Allergens: Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Peel Oil, Limonene, Pogostemon Cablin Oil Directions for use: Unscrew pouch cap and squeeze content into your Sir Jacobs Porcelain Dispenser (sold separately). Close the dispenser with the pump provided. This pouch is resealable and if you don’t decant all the wash, simply screw cap back on and keep for later. Dispense two to three pumps from your Sir Jacobs Porcelain Dispenser onto your hands and lather with water to create foam. Rinse thoroughly with water. Suitable for hands and body. Caution: Avoid eye contact. If contact occurs, rinse eye thoroughly with water. Obtain medical attention if effects persist. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
